Leather corner group sofa

I have been in the sofa business for quite a long time now and one question comes up every now and then. What is the difference between a leather corner sofa and a leather corner group sofa? There sure are differences between both types and there are pros and cons for each. But first of all let us establish what exactly a corner group sofa actually is.

What are leather corner group sofas?

Well, first of all it is obvious it is made of leather, it is a sofa and it is usually placed in a corner. Second of all it is also called a corner sectional sofa which gives a better hint of its main difference comparing to leather corner sofas. Namely, it is built of sections, most commonly two of them, while common corner sofas are made of one piece. This makes corner group sofas more practical because you can simply disassemble the two parts if you wish to move the sofa to a different spot, a different room or even a different apartment altogether.  This is a bit more tricky if you have a fused leather corner sofa, which is made of one piece and is thus much more awkward to move around.

But the one piece corner sofas are more solid, more compact. The joints that pull the sections of the leather corner group sofas tend to loosen in time and thus making it less stable. This can be repaired and the joints can be replaced but that will take some of your time and money.

Leather corner group sofa advantages

Besides being easier to move around, the corner group sofas have another great advantage. Some models can be put together in different ways, which is especially convenient if your living room is not shaped in a way it would provide a clean corner space for your sofa. A leather corner group sofa is very practical in such situation because it is flexible enough to adapt to whatever space you have in your mind.
